April’s full moon is known as the Pink Moon, for the early spring blooms of a North American wildflower, moss pink. These low-growing plants form beautiful cushions of little pink flowers on the ground. This full moon will also be the first of two supermoons in 2021 (the next is in May), appearing larger and brighter than a regular full moon.
This “supermoon” effect is caused by the Moon’s closer proximity to the Earth than normal full moons-- so not only will it be brighter, but expect it to have a more intense effect as well! Allow yourself to address any emotions that pop up and prepare for truths to be revealed. This supermoon may bring out a desire to become closer in relationships, whether with family, friends, or lovers. If the moon is pulling you in that direction, allow yourself to be guided by this pull. Elevating the right connections will help you continue to grow.
This full moon rises in water sign Scorpio, a sign known for intensity and passion, bringing a theme of reflection and deep searching to this full moon.
