Fall Equinox
Fall Equinox: Sept. 22, 2020
The Fall Equinox is one of two days in the year when the night and day are of equal length, signaling the end of summer and the beginning of autumn. Astrologically, this day has always been considered a major transition point and full of celestial energy.
Equinox literally means 'equal night'. Equinoxes, therefore, are all about finding your balance, especially as the sun will enter the sign of Libra, symbolized by a scale. During this time, consider the equilibrium of your life-- are you dedicating enough time and energy to your various needs such as your work, your family and friends and yourself? Spiritually, do you feel fulfilled? Are the relationships in your life meeting your emotional needs? Do you have hobbies that bring a smile to your face? Financially, try tracking your spending-- considering how much you're using for expenses now, how much you're saving and what you have for treating yourself! The equinox is the perfect time for asking yourself all of these questions (and more!) to help you find areas of your life that need adjustment to keep everything in balance.
The fall equinox is also associated with the fall harvest, so you should find yourself reaping the rewards of all your hard work soon! It's also a good time for cleaning your space, as with any major transitional period. You'll need space to accept new things that come your way, as well as space to help you proceed with clarity.
