THUNDER MOON

THUNDER MOON

This July’s Full Moon: Saturday, July 4th 9:44pm PST

July’s Full Moon is known as the Thunder Moon for the numerous thunderstorms that usually occur in the month, or the Buck Moon since a buck’s new antlers usually grow during this time.

Summer thunderstorms are often cathartic, cooling and clearing the air. This month, you may experience newfound clarity and illuminations. This might come in the form of closure from past events that still haunt you, new information that comes to light that illuminates a previously confusing experience, or a new way of thinking that allows you to suddenly see things clearly.

Symbolized by how a buck’s antlers emerge in July, this month is also a time for change and growth. If there’s a project you’ve been working on for a while, this month should bring the fruits of your labors. Or perhaps there’s something you’ve been wanting to change in your life-- breaking old habits, setting better personal boundaries, or things at work or in your relationships. You may feel some tension develop, but allow your frustrations to drive and motivate changes and personal growth.
